Familienhotel Moos-Alm offers rooms and double-level apartments, accessible by driving 2.5 km on a non-asphalted road. Dining Experience
The Moos-Alm's restaurant offers Tyrolean and international dishes prepared from regional products, accompanied by select wines and brandies. Guests can enjoy a 5-course gourmet menu by candlelight. Half-board includes a varied breakfast buffet and a 5-course dinner. Vegetarian dishes are available upon request.
Leisure Facilities
Guests have access to a panoramic sauna and a relaxation room with views of the East Tyrolean Alps. Wellness options include a solarium and massages by appointment. The garden features a forest playground and a petting zoo with sheep, goats, mini ponies, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
Location and Access
Familienhotel Moos-Alm is located 1,000 meters above sea level, next to the ski slopes and the upper station of the Schlossbergbahn/Hochstein Cable Car. It is 2.5 km above Lienz on Schlossberg Mountain. Landmarks nearby include Das Gschlosstal (2 km), Zettersfeld (3 km), and Hauptplatz Lienz (2 km). Guests receive free tickets for the cable car.
Services Provided
The Schlossbergbahn transports people and luggage from 9:00 to 16:45 daily. Hotel staff transports luggage to the property. Fresh spring water, juice, fruit, and nuts are provided. Guests arriving by car can park at the valley station of the Schlossbergbahn/Hochstein Cable Car. Rooms are available from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
