The new Arbor Vitae sauna area includes 4 saunas, relaxation areas, a natural bathing pond, and the 'Anima' exercise area. The main highlight is the Spa Suite on the third floor. Whirlpools are integrated in the outdoor and indoor pools. Guests can also enjoy one of the special sauna infusions. Additional features include a multipurpose playing field for football, basketball, or volleyball, two lakes with rowing boats available for free, and a pool with a waterslide, geyser pool, bottom jets, neck-massaging waterfall, waterbeds, an integrated children's pool, and massage seats. Gartenhotel Moser is located near Caldaro/Kaltern, by the Lago di Monticolo/Montiggler See lake amidst a natural landscape. It is 15 km from Bolzano. Nearby landmarks include the Mendelbahn (4 km), South Tyrolean Wine Museum (3 km), Kleiner Montiggler See (2 km), Chiesa Parrocchiale di S. Maria Assunta (3 km), St. Quirinus (3 km), Lago di Monticolo Piccolo (1.5 km), Langmoos (1 km), Assumption of Mary (3 km), Chiesa Sant'Antonio (3.5 km), and Kalterer See (4.5 km). The lovely St Johannes chapel stands alone on its peak and can be reached via a steep hiking trail. Sigmundskron castle, one of the oldest in South Tyrol, towers on porphyritic rock to the south of Bolzano.
