Rooms With a View
Gasthof Hirschen provides rooms in the main building with views of the mountains. These rooms do not have a balcony. The spacious rooms in the modern annexe provide panoramic views, and some include a balcony. Rooms feature heating, a sitting area, a terrace, a flat-screen TV, carpeted or parquet floors. Pets are not allowed in specific room types.
Dining at Hirschen IV
The in-house Hotel restaurant and bar, Hirsch IV, serves fine dining and a boutique-style INTRO breakfast tailored to individual preferences. A small selection of fine food is available (except Sundays, Thursdays, and holidays) from 17:00, with aperitifs and drinks from 16:00. Both breakfast buffet and dinner menus include lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-histamine options. The Hotel blends Vorarlberg local specialties with Austrian and international cuisine.
Wellness and Activities
The wellness area features different kinds of saunas, a steam bath, infrared cabins, and an outdoor heated hot tub with panoramic views. Guests may purchase a snack meal ticket that includes a cable car ride, a snack meal at Gasthaus Alpenrose, Juli's Marend, or Gasthaus Heumöser in Ebnit, and a bus ride back. The trip includes access to the Bruggerloch pool and Lake Constance at Rohrspitz. The Hotel is also the perfect starting point for easy walks through the countryside.
Location and Surroundings
Gasthof Hirschen is near landmarks such as the Women's Museum (6.5 km) and Schetteregg (4 km). Dornbirn is home to mountain settlements such as Kehlegg, Watzenegg, and Ebnit. Modern architecture is typical of Vorarlberg. The Pfarrers Älpele alpine hut is located at 1,270m above sea level in the centre of this area.
Services and Amenities
The Hotel provides free parking on four levels, some of which are covered, including in front of the main building, in the central courtyard, in the guest house, and in the Jana-Maria annexe. Bike and ski boxes are available to deposit or hire bicycles and e-bikes. There is a new private lounge designed as a workspace and meeting zone. The third floor of the new wing has a door leading to the Free Space.
