The HERMITAGE Lucerne offers rooms designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Choices range from Lake View Standard to Deluxe Suites. Each room provides views of the lake and mountains. Rooms feature side-by-side double beds, feather pillows, a living area, and a work desk with plug points. Lake View Design Balcony rooms are 34 m2, for 2 to 3 people, plus a 10 m2 balcony. Connecting doors are available in Lake View Superior rooms, and some rooms are wheelchair accessible. Amenities include yoga mats and anti-allergenic bedding. Room and laundry service are available.
Dining at HERMITAGE
Restaurant Hermitage serves Cosmopolitan Swiss cuisine. Menu highlights include whole trout and Valais steaks. The Game Menu features venison dishes, including venison schnitzel. The Afternoon Menu offers Lucerne dumplings with chanterelle mushroom ragoût. New classics, such as meat dishes from a Southbend oven heated to 800 degrees, are available. The daily breakfast buffet costs 25 Swiss francs per person and includes cold meats, smoked salmon, fresh vegetables, mousses, eggs, and baked goods. Guests can dine in the restaurant or on the lakeside terrace.
Recreation and Wellness
The HERMITAGE Lucerne provides a private beach, boat dock, boat rentals, paddle boards, a sunbathing lawn, and tennis courts. During winter, an ice-skating rink is available. Guests can access the fitness room and Wellness Corner with a sauna, sanarium, steam bath, and infrared cabin. Massage services are available. Activities on Lake Lucerne include pedalo, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard use, free for Hotel guests.
Location and Access
HERMITAGE Lake Lucerne is located 4 km from Lucerne and 70 km from Kloten Airport. The Hotel is near the 14th-century Chapel Bridge. Mount Pilatus is accessible for excursions via gondola or cog railway. Mount Titlis is located in the high valley of Engelberg in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region. Transportation to Mount Pilatus is available via Europe's first cogwheel railway from Vitznau, another cogwheel railway from Goldau, or a panoramic aerial cable car from Weggis.
