Each room provides a view of the Tyrolean mountain landscape towards Neunerköpfle and Vilsalpsee.
Dining at Hohenfels
The Tannheimer Stube is known for culinary experiences, serving regional specialties with selected products. Guests enjoy a daily changing 4-course menu inspired by regional, seasonal delicacies from the surrounding area. A breakfast featuring fresh bread, egg dishes, fruit juices, and coffee is served. The Hotel has vegan dishes available. Guests can enjoy 7 days half board including a "gourmet menu " from a decorated kitchen.
Leisure and Wellness
Hotel Hohenfels features a wellness area with a year-round heated outdoor pool offering mountain views, a sunbathing lawn, a steam bath, and Finnish and 80° saunas. A bathing bag including bathrobes, flip-flops, and towels are provided. There is also a fitness room with mountain views. Guests can enjoy a 60-minute massage during the day, or an individual Ayurvedic treatment tailored to specific needs. In winter, the Tannheimer Tal offers walking trails, snowshoe trails, calm ski slopes, frozen lakes for ice-skating and toboggan tracks.

Hotel Hohenfels is in Tannheim in the Tannheimer Valley, 100 km from Kranebitten. Nearby landmarks include Haldensee (4 km), Vilsalpsee (4 km), and Gaishorn (4.5 km). The Tannheimer Valley offers opportunities for hiking, cycling, and skiing. Guests can explore the area by bike, with city bikes available free of charge and e-mountain bikes for a fee. In May, June and October dogs stay free.
