Rooms and Chalets
INNs HOLZ offers double rooms and chalets. Double rooms (30-40 m²) provide a living and sleeping area, cable TV, shower, separate WC, and balcony. Chalets (90 m² over two levels) feature two bedrooms for up to five guests. Chalet amenities include a wood-burning stove, a daybed, a flat-screen TV, and a kitchenette with an electric hob, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Each chalet also has a private Finnish sauna with an open-air area. A freestanding bathtub is featured in every chalet. Each chalet has underfloor heating, a terrace, a balcony, digital TV, Wi-Fi, CD, radio and an iPod connection.
Dining Options
INNs HOLZ features the Böhmerwald Stube, where Hotel guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet from 08:00 to 10:30 and a six-course menu from 18:30 to 20:00. Chalet guests receive gourmet breakfast served in the chalet. The Restaurant INNs HOLZ serves cuisine daily from 11:00 to 21:00. The Holzfällerhütte, the smallest restaurant in Böhmerwald, offers private dining for up to six people. Culinary highlights include candlelight dinners on a raft on the Hotel's swimming lake and barbecues on the INNs HOLZ terrace. Every kitchen in the restaurants in Mühlviertel uses fresh, high-quality, local products.
Leisure and Wellness
The Hotel has a wellness area with saunas, a fitness center, a steam bath, a hot tub, and a sun bed. There is a pool complex with a heated indoor and outdoor bathing area, a lake sauna with access to the bathing lake, and relaxation areas. Guests can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, Nordic walking, and golfing in summer. In winter, activities include skiing, ice skating, and curling. There is also a high-wire park in Ulrichsberg and guided Nordic walking tours. There is a large garden with a terrace, a bathing lake, and a children's playground.
Location and Transport
INNs HOLZ is located in the Bohemian Forest, 4 km away from Hochficht. Nearby landmarks include Aussichtsturm Moldaublick (0.5 km), BohmerWaldArena (0.3 km), and Liebesfelsen (4 km). The Hotel is 75 km from Blue Danube Airport. From Linz-Urfahr, the Hotel is about one hour away via Rohrbacher Bundesstraße; from Munich, the journey takes about two hours. Guests can take the Mühlkreisbahn from Linz-Urfahr to Aigen-Schlägl, where a transfer to the Hotel can be arranged. Parking is available in the Hotel's parking garage with direct access to the Hotel.

INNs HOLZ provides wireless LAN and parking. A transfer from Aigen-Schlägl train station is available. The wellness area and the fitness room are for free. Guests have access to breakfast buffet, tea, coffee and cake in the afternoon, 6-course gourmet dinner in the evening, daily salad buffet and cheese board, themed buffets and barbecues on the panorama terrace (in summer only), all-day health bar in the spa and beauty area. The Hotel offers transport to the ski area by PistonBully (€ 8 per person) or by bus (€ 5 per person). Small dogs are allowed on request (€ 15 per pet/night).
