Lofthotel Walensee offers functionally furnished Hotel rooms. Guests can choose from loft rooms, adventure rooms, and suites. Loft rooms facing Lake Walen and the Churfirsten mountains range from 28 to 32 m² with 3.3-meter high ceilings. These rooms offer king-size beds or two single beds and some have balconies. Standard loft rooms facing the inner courtyard of the old spinning mill are also 28 to 32 m² with 3.3-meter high ceilings. Biker lofts on the first floor, accessible by motorcycle, have views of the Churfirsten mountains and private bathrooms. The tower loftsuite features views of the lake and mountains, two bedrooms with king-size beds or two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and a balcony. Adventure rooms provide distinct designs. A wellness room, available from May to September, includes a sauna, whirlpool, and a terrace with deck chairs. The two smallest loft rooms "Cosmus" and "Othmar" offer 18 m² of space and views to the east. The loftsuite B 5.3 includes a kitchen.
Dining at Walensee
The sagibeiz restaurant offers food and a lakeside terrace. Take Away is available daily from 11:30, ordered via QR code. A 3-course business lunch and dinner are available, including spring water. For seminars, options include a picnic in Quinten with a boat trip on Lake Walen, or team cooking in the loftsuite with a fixed 4-course menu. Other options include a 3-course business dinner in sagibeiz with spring water.
Leisure Activities
Guests can access a fitness room. Wellness options include an indoor wellness room and an outdoor sauna with lake views. The outdoor sauna accommodates up to six people and is heated with wood from the Hotel's forest. From October to April, guests can enjoy the wellness room, featuring a sauna, whirlpool, rainforest shower, and a terrace. Additional activities include tennis on a 630m² indoor court, and e-bike rentals are available at the reception. Guests can rent SUP, canoes, kayaks, or a motorboat at the sagilounge.
Location & Access
Lofthotel Walensee is located in Murg, 85 km from Kloten Airport. It is near Lake Walen, offering biking and swimming. Guests can visit Gsponbachfall (5 km), Nageliberg (3.5 km), and Gross Guslen (3 km). The Hotel is close to the Swiss Textile Collection (1 km) and Murgbachschlucht (1 km). Other landmarks include Flugespitz (5 km), Paxmal (5 km), and Foggen (4 km).
