Matterhorn Inn provides newly renovated rooms in various categories, all furnished in a bright and stylish manner. The rooms include free WiFi, a TV, coffee and tea making facilities, and a bathroom with a shower or bath. Amenities also include a telephone, a mini bar, an iron & ironing board, a safe, and a hair dryer. Some rooms have a seating area. Triple rooms with a south-facing balcony offer 23 m² of space for up to three people, featuring two single beds and a sofa bed. Single rooms are 12qm and have a completely new renovated bathroom with shower. All rooms are equipped to go on a trip with family or friends as well as to enjoy a few days for two. Some rooms also have City, Garden, Landmark or Mountain views.
Dining at Matterhorn Inn
The Alpenhotel features a restaurant serving Swiss specialities and Italian specialities. Guests can enjoy a meal at Walliserkanne. An àlacarte dinner or the daily varying 3-course menu are available. Guests can book half board with daily new menus at a special price for their entire stay. There is also a Steakhouse 'zur alten Mühle' and the China Garden as dining options.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can use the wellness and fitness facilities which include a sauna. There is also a spa tub and a fitness center. You are welcome to relax in the small wellness oasis until 10 pm every day. The gym is there for a good workout before unwinding in the hot tub and sauna. Other recreational amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, ski storage, and a television in a common area. 20 km of cross-country ski runs are available between Täsch and Randa. Guests can also visit the Beach Club at the Schalisee with water ski and wakeboard lift.
Location and Transport
Matterhorn Inn is located right across from Täsch Train Station and the Matterhorn Terminal, which provides a 24-hour shuttle service to Zermatt. Täsch is the starting point for many hikes, for example to the Weisshorn Hut, Täschalp and Pfulwe. Matterhorn Inn is 350 metres from Täsch. Zermatt is only reachable by the shuttle train from Täsch and is also very popular among skiers, climbers and hikers. Sion is 80 km away.
Services Offered
Matterhorn Inn provides reception, a lift, an internet corner, complimentary wireless internet access, a ski cellar, a dining room/restaurant and lounge bar, and a café with pizzeria and sun terrace. Masks are provided to the guest on request. The Zermatt shuttle train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn runs every 20 minutes between Täsch and Zermatt. You are welcome to make until the room is ready for you.
