Hotel Monika offers rooms and apartments. Country-style rooms feature sleeping and living areas, and bathrooms with hair dryers; some rooms include a balcony. Double rooms provide a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a seating area, a wardrobe, a safe deposit box, and mountain views. Apartments renovated in 2014 include a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a private winter garden with mountain views. Spacious apartments provide wooden furniture, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a hairdryer, a kitchenette, a living room with a sofa bed, and a balcony. Apartments also include a flat-screen TV. Some apartments are located 150 meters or a 10-minute walk from the main building; a free shuttle service is available upon request.
Dining at Hotel Monika
An extensive breakfast buffet is available, featuring freshly prepared egg dishes and a selection of coffee specialties. Guests may book evening meals directly at the Hotel. The Organic Restaurant Saladina is in the next building. You can also book your evening meal in the Mühle restaurant comfortably at the Hotel. Guests can stop for coffee, cakes, and tea specialties in the Stone pine panelled parlour.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can access a climbing park. In winter, skiing tours to the peaks, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoe hiking are available. 33 cross-country ski runs are available in the Montafon. The hiking routes in the Montafon run through 11 hiking areas. Beginners can find simple to demanding vie ferrate and tricky walls with breath-taking scenery. Guests can use the Finnish sauna at a temperature of 85 to 105 degrees C. Sauna sessions between 15 and 20 minutes.
Location and Access
This family-run Hotel is 100 meters from the valley station of the Silvretta Nova Cable Car, providing access to the skiing area, hiking routes and après-ski bars. The chalets are approximately 10 minutes on foot from the village center or the valley station. Gaschurn is an ideal starting point for summiteers and leisure hikers. Winter equipment is available. The route from Germany is via the border crossing Lindau, and from Switzerland via the Feldkirch border crossing. Landmarks nearby include Madrisella Klettersteig (1 km), Tanzlaube Gaschurn (0.5 km), and Montafon Mountain and tourism Museum (0.5 km).
