Panoramahotel Burgeck offers rooms that meet Hohe Tauern Health standards. Single rooms (14 m²) feature allergy-friendly bed linen. Double rooms (28-32m²) accommodate 2-4 guests, some include a balcony, sound-proofing, seating area, an iPad, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Comfort Plus rooms (38 m²) sleep 2-6 persons, with two bedrooms, sound-proofing, hypoallergenic bedding, desk, sitting area, and a balcony overlooking Krimml. Holiday flats (60m²) for 2-5 persons include a kitchen/living area with two beds, a separate bedroom with three beds, a WC with shower, and an extra WC. The living room and bedroom have satellite TV and radio.
Dining Delights
The panorama restaurant with winter garden offers regional and international dishes, plus vegetarian options. The kitchen mainly uses organic products from own farms or the local region, as well as fresh herbs from own herb garden. A rich breakfast buffet includes sausages, cheese, fresh fruits, juices, and cereal. Special dishes are available for allergy sufferers on request. Guests can also try Achentaler Schichtnudeln, a typical dish from Krimml, with ribbon noodles, Pinzgauer cheese, and mountain cheese.
Leisure and Wellness
The Hotel provides a wellness area with a Finnish sauna, herbal bio sauna, infrared loungers, and adventure shower. There is also a relaxation lounge with panoramic views and an outdoor terrace with hanging chairs. For children, there is a children's playroom, a playground equipped with a trampoline, slides, and table tennis. Guests can also enjoy the Durlassboden lake and swimming pool.
Location and Access
Panoramahotel Burgeck is located on the edge of the forest in the Hohe Tauern National Park. It is a few minutes' walk to the center of Krimml and the Krimml Waterfalls. The Hotel is 100 km from Kranebitten. The ski bus provides direct transport from Krimml to the Zillertal Arena. The Tauern Cycle Path starts in Krimml. The Hotel provides free access to the Krimmler waterfalls and the Gerlos Mautstraße.
Guest Services
The summer price includes the National Park Summer Card, offering free access to over 60 attractions. The Hotel is a partner of Hohe Tauern Health, offering allergy sufferers a stay in rooms tested for particulate matter and indoor allergens. Daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the therapy area is only reserved for guests of HTH partner companies for inhalation therapy. The staff is trained in allergic asthma and food allergies.
