Hotel & Restaurant Kronenhof Am Weser-Radweg, 40 km from Kassel-Calden, features 31 guest rooms. Almost all rooms include a balcony with views over the Weser meadows. The newly renovated rooms offer a retreat. Each room includes cosy beds, top-quality mattresses, a flat-screen TV, a seating area, ironing facilities, heating, a terrace, a patio, garden furniture, free toiletries, an AM/FM alarm clock, and carpeted floors. The spacious double rooms in the new building have a large balcony with garden views. Extra beds are available in certain room categories.
Regional Cuisine
The Kronenhof kitchen team, led by chef Frank Kunert and apprentice Liaquat, creates culinary dishes. The restaurant offers regional and seasonal dishes, traditional country house classics, and theme buffets. Enjoyable tastings with menus such as "Wine & Dine" are available. Trainees Jana and Julian ensure customer satisfaction. The restaurant functions as a living room.
Leisure and Wellness
The panorama sauna area offers views over Reinhardswald and Wesertal, featuring a 60-degree biosoft sauna with aroma therapy and color change, plus a 90-degree Finnish sauna with a copper kettle for infusions. The Weser-Therme Bad Karlshafen is a popular destination. The Hotel provides its own entertainment program with "horse races" and "bingo" for evening entertainment.
Location and Surroundings
Located in the Weserbergland, between Grimm's fairytale forests, meadows, and the Weser, Hotel Kronenhof is near the rafting village (over 2500 years old with less than 1000 inhabitants). Nearby landmarks include Der Muhlenplatz (4 km), Weberei-Museum Kircher (3 km), Langenberg (3 km), and Hahneberg (2 km). Various hiking trails are available in the Reinhardswald Nature Park and the Solling-Vogler region.

The family Hotel team welcomes guests with culinary delicacies. Astrid is the "good soul of the house." The Hotel offers light-flooded conference rooms for meetings from 2 to 30 participants. The Therapy Centre for Holistic Medicine, a few minutes' walk away, includes a shop for daily needs, a doctor's and osteopathic practice, a hairdresser, a flower shop, and an indoor swimming pool.
