Mountain lovers can enjoy guided hikes with mountain guide Sepp, which take place three times a week in summer. The use of the mountain railways in the Tannheim valley is included.

Hotel Sonnenhof is situated in Grän in the Tannheim valley, near Lake Vilsalp and Lake Halden. The Hotel is 200 meters from the village center. The Füssener Jöchle ski and hiking area is nearby. Kranebitten Airport is 100 km away. The Hotel is accessible without a vignette or toll from Germany, avoiding the Brenner Pass and the Füssen Border Tunnel.
