Year-round activities
Guests can experience snowshoeing on trails around the Catinaccio area. Winter sports enthusiasts have access to 40 km of slopes and 20 refuges. A public ski bus to the Carezza ski slopes leaves from the Hotel. The Hotel offers snowshoe and trekking pole hire. Guests can also visit the old Venetian sawmill and museum at the visitor center.

Hotel Stefaner is 35 km from Bolzano. A bus stops in front of the Hotel, linking with Bozen, 20 km away. The Hotel is near paths and walks in the Dolomites. The cable car climbs for 3.5 km to the Frommer mountain hut in the Carezza ski and hiking area. South Tyrol's Bozen Dolomiten regional airport is located on the southern outskirts of the capital city.
