Villa Rein Boutiquehotel offers rooms with a boxspring bed (2 x 2 meters), a minibar, kettle, flat-screen TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony, while others offer a bay window. All rooms are non-smoking and include mountain views. Tea and coffee facilities are provided, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a make-up mirror. Each room also features atmospheric lighting and a safe.
Gourmet Dining
The Hotel offers a gourmet breakfast with regional delicacies, including coffee from Dinzler roasting house and rolls from Neumeier bakery. Spreads are homemade, and eggs come from Evi Hofhammer's free-range hens in Teisendorf. Dairy products are supplied by the local dairy in Piding, cheese from Bergader private cheese dairy in Waging, and cold cuts from Drexler butcher's shop in Reichenhall. Guests can enjoy wines and spirits on the balcony or in the fireplace lounge. A rustic Schlegelmulde alpine hut also offers regional delicacies.
Leisure and Relaxation
Guests can use hot pools at the nearby Rupertustherme. The lounge offers views of the Latten Mountains with Predigtstuhl, Dreisesselberg, and Rotofen. The property also features a fireplace lounge. A boat trip on the Königssee to St Bartholomä immerses you in the Alpine scenery. There is a permanent exhibition of local and national artists.
Location and Access
Villa Rein is close to the train station, thermal baths, and the city center. Nearby landmarks include Listsee (3.5 km), Kirche St. Zeno (1 km), and the Old Salt Works (1.5 km). The Hotel is surrounded by mountain peaks, such as the Hochstaufen massif, Lattengebirge, Untersberg, and Reiter Alpe.

The Hotel offers Wi-Fi in rooms. Limited parking is available in the inner courtyard for €8 per day. Alternative parking is available in public areas in Frühling- and Traunfeldstraße or in the Kurgastzentrum underground car park (150 meters away). The Hotel provides a kettle with teas and coffee in each room. From 1973, Gertraud and Helmut Rein took over the business. In 2024, the Villa Rein boutique Hotel will be published as the most beautiful Hotel in Germany 2024.
